First off I must say that youre blessed to have such wonderful hockey cities and great fans, Im truly jealous! Secondly, please vote for the team that you follow (if any). Im kinda interested to see who follows who. Naturally I expect Montreal and Toronto to come out on top, but I could be wrong. My personal fave is the Habs (behind my Blackhawks of course), whats your fave?

You might be surprised to find there are quite a few fans who follow US-based teams for various reasons.

For example, quite a few hockey fans in the 35-50 age group continue to be Bruin fans because of their fondness for Bobby Orr.

I can almost bet noone in Montreal favors the Bruins, theyd probably have a lynch mob outside their door if they did.

I take it you follow a US team since you didnt vote?

I chose the Leafs as my second choice, the Red Wings would have been my first if they were on the list. I am definitely anti Habs.

Grew up with the Oilers in the early 80's. After that how can you change to any other team?

Sorry, Steve-o, I didn't vote because I don't think taking masochistic pleasure in watching the Laafs get their butt handed to them regularly qualifies as being a fan.

Thirty+ years of futility and foolishness with that franchise have soured me to the point where I take much greater pleasure in following the individual careers of Junior A players who have gone through our local team and moved up the ladder.

Don't sell yourself short Cornerguy. It's been 41 years and counting for the Make Beliefs.

Awwww, should I feel pity for you? My team is the ONLY one with a longer losing streak than the Laffs. As agonizing as it is, you hang in there, show them support and hope and pray one day the Cup comes to Toronto once again.
