I thought it was an English Canadian game show - which are relatively rare, actually.

I am familiar with the show, though I don't watch it. (I don't generally watch game shows other than those that are knowledge based, i.e. Jeopardy).

Quebec has tons of game shows, both original concepts and copies of shows made in the US, France and other countries.

Yes, most of them. The ones I don't are likely contestants from the general public.
