Perhaps you would care to read this which is more relevant to the "over 44 million people"
but like all the other proposals, it may come to naught. Who knows?

I'm okay with that if it means it will result in bringing back home our two uninvolved Canadian hostages who have been held imprisoned in China ever since this God-forsaken mess started. Our guys are isolated in captivity over there while Meng lives a life of leisure confined to her multi-million dollar luxury home in Vancouver and she has free run of the city going on shopping sprees and dining while sporting her ankle bracelet and her body guards. America and China should never have gotten Canada caught up in the middle of their disputes with each other.

As has been suggested; a review of our extradition treaty with the U.S. would be in order, if for no other purpose but to send a message that if the U.S. wants to have a foreign citizen arrested by Canadian authorities they should jump through hoops and prove a prima-facia case to a judicial panel in CANADA before we blindly accept their assertion an illegality has occurred.

We know that the judicial procedure in the U.S. has become politically corrupted beyond acceptance.

Whichever way the wind blows; so too does their interpretation of criminal offences.
