What if the United States and Canada were to have an agreement where all Canadian CITIZENS (those who are considered citizens of Canada, not legal residents) and United States Citizen would be allowed to work in either country without having to obtain a working permit for either country, how do you think this would reflect Canadians migrating to the United States and vice versa?

There would probably increased immigration (and temporary/short term foreign jobs/contracts) overall, with probably more Canadians going to the U.S. than vice versa.

If it wasn't for the U.S.'s lagging economy, among a few other problems I'd be one of the first to immigrate...

However, perhaps I'd prefer to pick up some short term work down south when it gets slow (or too cold, lol) up here.
