don't blame Trump on this. The H1B visa system has been abused by big tech companies and Chinese/Indian workers for decades. It was not working the way it was supposed to work under the law.

Less competition in the IT industry -> the current $100-150K salaries become $200-250K -> the innovation cools off in a smaller pool -> the innovation shifts to China/India -> USA start losing the world status in yet another way -> Trump has started the era of decline of USA.

Funny, from a Chinese/Indian perspective, wouldn't that be a more fair game since they are able to retain more of their own talents?

The decline of the USA? That started a long time ago. If you want to talk about this, ask Clinton. China joined the WTO in 2002, and that's when it all started. Blaming Trump on this is stupid.

From a Chinese/Indian perspective, they have always had the ability to retain their own talent. Nobody pushed them out and into USA
