Yup! Most of the American thanksgiving recipes have migrated north over the years (the exception is sweet potato pie, unheard of in Canada, we make pumpkin pies).
Is cranberry sauce a part of a Canadian’s Thanksgiving?
You betcha, it sure is a big part in both Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners and any other time turkey is eaten, not only the sauce, lots of other cranberry concoctions and beverages too. Mouldy, Canada is one of the world's biggest producers of cranberry products which are exported all over the world and there's a strong likelihood that the cranberry sauce you eat with your thanksgiving turkey dinner today came from Canada. Happy Thanksgiving to you today!
