Overall, as I mentioned earlier regarding what they think of our news, I don't care.

Where I start to care, is when people post ignorant and misleading posts about Canada on a forum for many others to see. They may just be pushing buttons, since who in their right mind believes a country doesn't have it's own culture?

Both are immigrants who have spent overall a lot less time in Canada and were not educated in Canada. That may be where the prejudice and ignorance comes from.

Well, a dog was killed by a coyote a day ago in the Transcona area of Winnipeg. And we've been VERY sorry, sorry sorry here in Canada lately, apologizing for the child kidnappings and residential schools in Newfoundland and for past treatment of gays and lesbians. It would be so much more interesting if we had a Mad Tweeter in charge of Wonderland or an emperor with no clothes. Apologies are so boring when one could rather be fighting.

But here it's venison steaks, red cabbage, mushroom gravy and mashed potatoes for supper here but that isn't making the news. Boring! Boring! Boring!

Meh. I'm very content with the state of my soul, character, old age, travel experiences, resources and where I live. Even when my big old snarky mean streak is showing through that is no reflection on how gloriously happy and grateful I am about myself, who I am and especially with where I am right here in the best place on earth. So don't you worry that little head of yours with more of your irrelevancies that you think would be better for me.

Maybe it would be better for you to attend to improving your own state of soul and character since you are the one who is complaining and demonstrating online (unsolicited, BTW) about how clearly malcontented you are about things, people and places that are none of your concern and beyond your control issues.

I believe Botticelli implied this (he was replying to the OP) in the "Canadian cities" section of his first post and you replied to Botticelli...and it makes logical sense.

The reverse is true as well....as a Canadian you will find your average European cities much more interesting to visit than the average US cities.

Ahahaha the discussion always circle back to healthcare..it is an obsession for some.....newsflash to you Zoisite:

1) Low income people have free healthcare in the US, you can even get free dental in some states/cities.

2) If someone wishes to move in another country for free healthcare there are so many other choices far better than Canada according to the WHO.....and with better weather, food and culture to boot

Well, yes dear, I know all that is true, but the OP isn't a low income person. S/he's somebody who claims s/he is constantly travelling to visit exciting places all over the world several times every year and then s/he reports about the travel experiences here on CD. S/he's been making these travel reports and critiques to the forum for years. Just review the posts and see for yourself. Low income people can't travel around the world like that.

Now maybe the untold reality is that s/he's actually a health care worker or customer service worker on staff with an airline or cruise line or whatever and is working on their way to all these places year round, but even that would mean s/he isn't a low income person and doesn't qualify for all that free stuff.

And yet s/he repeatedly returns over and over again for vacations to different parts of Canada which is so dull and boring to her/him. Then every now and then, like this thread here today, s/he reports here on the Canada forum about the visits to Canada and how discontented and bored s/he is with Canada. As if anybody cares.

Why is s/he doing any of that if s/he dislikes Canada so much? It doesn't make sense unless s/he's a malcontent who is deliberately trying to cause trouble for Canada and make Canadians feel small, guilty, self-conscious, etc. and/or s/he's travelling to Canada repeatedly for the purpose of finding a pushover Canadian husband to sponsor and support her/him in Canada and qualify her/him for Canadian health care for when s/he's too old and decrepit to work and support self and has a pile of old age related health problems.

Go figure.
