I suppose IF that is true, then the converse is true, and Americans are simply not equipped mentally to understand " the rest of the civilized world " attitudes much less those of " countries with stricter gun laws ".
Given the entirety of his post; why not just full stop at the end of the bolded?
And most of them didn't register them either. By sheer coincidence they all mysteriously 'lost' them in over-turned boating accidents while they were heading across a deep river or lake to go hunting.

It's my understanding they only started doing that after looters had started invading houses and stealing guns that weren't in safes and that the RCMP only took any unsecured firearms that were visible and left out in the open. Owners had those guns returned to them afterwards. What conflicting stories did you hear?

I didn't take offence at that since it's simply a fact that the U.S. is an outlier in the western world when it comes to views on guns and health care. So yeah, the converse is also true.
