Trump levees tariffs on Canadian goods its only natural tariffs will now be applied to American goods.
Or did you think there would be no repercussions to trumps trade policies?

From the Canada Department of Finance website, here is the full list of countermeasure tariffs on USA products. Goods from Table 1 will be subject to a 25 per cent surtax. Goods from Tables 2 and 3 will be subject to a 10 per cent surtax. These countermeasures will only apply to goods originating from the U.S.A.

I find Table 3 quite interesting.

If the US sends all those Canadian actors/entertainers home, what would be Canada's equivalent response? LOL

So begins the dismantling of the American international order instituted by Democratic and Republican Administrations over the past half century. All being dismantled by a man who has shown, at best, a superficial knowledge of international trade, has a short attention span, and a view that all politics is personal.

America deserves so much better.

These are just the ones who've declared their origin:

What do you think a sensible response would be to the U.S. stupidly kicking Gretsky and all those other millionaires out of the U.S.?

I'll wait.

Maybe Trump's moves were the repercussions to Canada's trade policies? Trump is only attempting to "rebalance" tariffs to correct an unlevel playing field.

Please don't go there my dear, you're just flogging a lame horse. We all know that's what Trump said so you aren't telling us anything new. But he has been lying through his teeth about that and a lot of other things and you have been duped and are getting dragged down by his doing. Too bad for you that you are so eager and willing to believe his nonsense lies without questioning how illogical they are. Maybe you should do some fact researching and find out the truth for yourself. There's already enough revelations and discussions about his lies in this matter in other threads on this board. Go check out the truth for yourself and don't try to perpetuate his lies and lame excuses to Canadians.

What Zoiste said.

You are believing the lie. For any American ( Happy 4th by the way ) who truly loves his country and wants the best for their country, they must come from a place of truth.

Take off your MAGA hat, and think for yourself is all that we are asking. Facts are a funny thing, and it will soon be apparent that by checking your OWN government resources about trade with Canada, that Trump is LYING.

As an American, that should make you angry for several reasons, but most of all, make you angry because Trump thinks you are all too lazy or stupid to look up facts or god forbid, have any critical thinking skills.

He is fighting for his country which happens to be the USA, as a leader of any country should. Their leader is following Trump's lead. He is already learning from the great man. And Trump has a lot to teach.
