Scroll down to Article 5.

The article has only been invoked once - in defense of the United States, after 9/11.

Bull****. Commenting on the release of a prisoner from torture in Saudi Arabia should be supported without question.

What the Saudi's did is refuse to release a prisoner to Canada, and the Saudi's are so indignant at the request that they want hospitals and schools emptied to Saudis. So be it. It makes no difference to Canada, and Canada is not harmed by the decision of the new guy in Saudi to have a small tantrum when so much Saudi money is flowing out of the country.

So what should Canada do about it exactly?

Again. What is Canada you going to do about it? It’s known Saudi Arabia funds terroists. They are ready for war for stuff like this. Is Canada? This is where Saudi took it. Canada likes to make excuses. Just accept you never should have tweeted and were unaware of the consequences. Just apologize. Sorry is probably one of the most used words by canadians anyway

Carry on, stand up for human rights, protect the one man the the Saudi government wants to kill (as the Saudi's empty education and health facilities in Canada)l, and too bad that the USA no longer stands up for human rights.

Again eh, what's got you worked up?

Canada is not at war with the Saudi's, and if the Saudi's thought it would be a good idea to declare war on Canada (perceiving Canada to be weak after Trump stupidity), it's not.

Saudi Arabia can stomp their feet all they like, their nukes don't reach Canada.

Saudi Arabia does not have nuclear weapons....I want to make that clear.

Good thing too....that is a country you don’t want having nukes....with the unstable leader
they currently have ....it would not be a good thing.

However, that tweet was dumbsville...who ever sent it (or sanctioned it ) should have been reprimanded for it .....was it Chrystia Freeland?....she has quite the ego
but Trudeau has her back, so no consequences for her.

The rest of the world is not Canada. They are not scared to kill. Keep acting like everything is as peaceful as in Canada. For such a great country there has been a terrible display of foreign affairs recently. That is what has me worked up. They are representing me after all. I cannot represent myself at an international level. So I’m stuck posting here.
