Which Canadian province or territory has the best looking flag and why ?

Nova Scotia and Quebec. Quebec has the most original, I like the fluer de lis. I like the Nova Scotia flag colours. It is the Scotish flag with the colours inversed and the lion logo in the middle, It's a pretty cool flag IMO.

I like the boat on the New Brunswick flag. But Quebec probably has the strongest, most iconic symbol/flag with the blue & white Fleur de Lis..

New Brunswick's looks great floating in the wind from a flagpole. BC and Quebec are nice as well. Also Nunuvat is pretty cool.


Ontario and Manitoba are probably the most boring.


PEI, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia and Saskatchewan are decent.


Alberta, NTW and the Yukon are kinda meh.

Quebec's Fleur-de-lis, is as original as the Union Jacks on BC, Ontario, and Manitoba flags.

I like Newfoundland/Labrador's flag. Although all have some merit.

I HATED having to try and draw our BC flag in elementary school. It was torture for a child.

BC has the most distinctive flag. I like Quebec's and NB too. Naturally I'm partial to Alberta's crest, but the flag is sort of meh. I do have to say that all of the Canadian provincial flags are better than probably 40 of the State flags in the US.
