I wanted to be surprised, but I'm not.

I'm also curious as to all the other border crossings? I assume they must be the same since they all fall under one department.

So ..... once again all nightclubs and banquet halls in BC have been ordered closed effective immediately due to a spike of 429 cases over the past 4 days, most of which were found related to those venues. And it's being acknowledged that it's not been the establishments and staff themselves being held at fault as they are all going above and beyond in observing required restrictions and rules, it's been the customers that have not been behaving responsibly.

The question is how long can this continue? Closing businesses, lockdowns, restrictions? What if there is no vaccine any time soon? Nobody seems to have an answer for this. Lockdowns only work for 1-2 months, then people start to not obey. This has been going on for 6 months. Everybody knows this is not sustainable.

There are better treatments now than in the spring and more in the clinical trial pipeline. As treatments improve the virus becomes less deadly and fewer precautions need to be taken... and that’s assuming there is no vaccine.

Picked up two boxes of these single-use disposable masks from Costco today, at $39 per box of 20 pieces. The price has come down since July.

This is good, so things should get back to normal soon.

Clinical trials take time as does distribution of an approved vaccine if it comes. I doubt anything will be back to normal for several months.

Use this time productively so it is not wasted. Learn new skills, develop hobbies, renovate your home, etc. All that can enhance your life when things are back to normal.

Less than $30 at my Costco but that’s for non surgical masks. I clicked on Orbiter’s image - KN95 Masks so they are much more expensive. KN95’s are the Chinese version of the N95 masks although they don’t as yet have equal certification.
