Compared to the US? You seriously want to go there?

It's about that every weekend in Chicago alone isn't it! :-), I don't think you want to 'go there' if I were you.

If Wikipedia is to be believed, always an if with them, I checked the list of massacres (the events listed include as little as 4 people dead) in Canada. Again, if the data is correct, since 1969 81 people lost their lives in mass shootings (I did not even check the type of firearms)....81 people in 51 years.....so how many people this ban will save??

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...cres_in_Canada

This is exactly my point, antis do not care about facts and numbers or other's people life...they simply want to impose to people what is deemed acceptable to them...it is a slippery slope from here.
Your point?

That Canada has had some mass killings? So we should just say " Ok, it's going to happen we might as well just ignore it. "

Also what part of " CANADIANS WANT THIS AND ARE FAVOUR OF THIS? " that you aren't getting?

No one IMPOSED this on us.

As for senseless drivel, no. A country and it's people should have some sort of idea of what they want to become, who they are, and what they see as legitimate restrictions.

If you are trying to use the US as some sort of ideal on how we should act on gun laws, then I'm afraid the rest of the world is laughing right now.

I know you currently live in a very divided country, but your boxing in people as uncaring about life because they are " antis " ( your new favourite word I see ) doesn't work in Canada. I would NEVER think that someone who is against this move in Canada doesn't care about people. They just have a different perspective. It is the same as me telling you don't care for people's lives because of your stance. So again, stop it.

He had to go all the way back to 1969 to make his point. I could go back one month in the US to make mine.

Yes THOUSANDS, in fact tens of thousands! If you are struggling to understand just compare firearm deaths in Canada to the US, it's pretty bloody clear to EVERYBODY in the world - it certainly ain't rocket science!!

The US is the example of what would happen if Canada didnt 'control' its guns - answer the amont of people killed by them would be much much much higher - tens of thousands higher. It aint rocket science.
