That is true but Asian immigration to Canada vastly out numbers all other regions of the globe. Other regions don't come close. Not saying there is anything wrong with that, Just pointing out the reality of immigration to Canada.

I think immigration should be regulated. Immigration can invigorate a region, but when it is managed amiss, it can cause social division. Cultures should not be changed abruptly; a large process is an optimal path.

immigration does invigorate a region
there are certainly no abrupt changes to anyone's Culture,, if anything those coming to Canada sadly often lose some of their cultural identity

Canada's identity is based on immigrants, i would not have it any other way and is in part why i chose to move here

It used to be fun to take CalTrain to the City and mingle with all the people. Ever since the willie brown era, going to the City makes you feel like you need to talk a shower. Parts of the City are crime ridden, depressed and smelly while other parts cater to the techie group and expensive. Fewer Americans are there for vacations or just to enjoy the theater or dinner, our culture is gone.

We don't even bother going anymore but have some fun memories.

It matters less what origins immigrants are from than how well they interact with each other.

Our back yard BBQ's are already a "multi coloured quilt" and as long as they continue to be fun and friendly experiences, I don't shive a git where the attendees originally came from. Their children all seem to get along just fine while playing in our yard.

Asian contributions to the history of the Constitution of Canada could be important, although I am ignorant.
