Some Canadian Youtubers I'm following :

1) J.J. McCullough - he makes really good content about Canadian politics and culture
2) IgorRyltsev - Ukrainian immigrant who makes good content for prospective immigrants
3) Bald Prairie Real Estate - Canadian real-estate prospect

If you want more credible sources of information - I would read books on Canada.
JJ McCullough is just about the worst source of information possible. He's inaccurate, biased and prejudiced.

And I don't use those terms often or lightly.

Yeah I have to agree with Acajack. There is something wrong with JJ McCulloguh. His videos come across more trollish than anything. He is probably the most annoying youtuber I have seen out there. His channel is that LAST channel you should watch to learn about Canada.

oh yeah? wow haha. i had no idea. i am not really a super political person so I do not really pay attention to the politcal agendas. he just makes very catchy videos and i liked his "trivia" approach appealed to me. He did seem a bit overly critical about Quebec.

I don't watch sitcoms generally, so what is the relationship between this show and Canada?

One of the leads is from Vancouver. A rare instance where a Canadian actually plays a Canadian on a US show.

The character is constantly made the butt of Canadian stereotype jokes.

At the same time, it’s used to squash some of the more nonsensical stereotypes about Canada.

Haha. Yeah some of the things aboot what goes on in Canada. It’s been a while since I last saw the show, but I remember Barney having a culture shock when he went to Canada in one of the episodes.
