Not few. There are many countries that are still completely closed to foreign travellers. Looks to me like there are almost as many that are completely closed as there are those that are only partially open with restrictions and conditions.

Edited to add: 4 are completely open with no restrictions, 112 are open with restrictions, and 105 are completely closed to foreigners.

See the map and explanations of those completely closed and those open with restrictions, the site has been updated today. https://www.ca.kayak.com/travel-restrictions

Thailand is shown correctly on the map in the orange colour ...... orange means partially open with restrictions. Here are the travel restrictions for Thailand. https://www.ca.kayak.com/travel-restrictions/thailand

All of the 105 countries shown in red are closed to foreign travellers, without options.

OK I misread the map. It depends on where you are coming from, so there maybe more or fewer countries closed. EU will be open July 1 with a negative test or proof of vaccination.

When the border opens up. I will try to take a road trip to New Mexico. I just hope recieving mixed doses of covid vaccine will not be an issue crossing into the US.

Cant say for sure, but I highly doubt it will be. Fully vaccinated is the goal, no matter how you get there.

It was nice to see a car with British Columbia plates in WA (first time I see one since the pandemic stared) - it was a family with children. I hope there will be more cars from Canada from now on. Feels like life is slowly going back to normal - full stadiums, full airports, full airplanes and lot more tourists and traffic than just 2 months ago.

I agree with the above, its very welcoming to see Canada license plates down here. Saw one last week. Was about to wave to them but you know they may take it the wrong way.

Speaking of children, I guess that means people can cross the border with children under 10 if they are not vaxed?? Does the mane people with unvaxed children have to quarentine for two weeks when returning to Canada?

Don't know about Canada, but Europe will be allowing children under 12 if their parents are either vaccinated, have recovered from covid or have a negative PCR test. It would be cruel to restrict the life of people with younger children.

Yeah I know kids are less likely to get serioulsy ill, but still there is the risk of spread. Just wondering what the rules around that will be like to the US.
