Never had them. Always thought that was weird.

Though I loved ketchup chips as a child.

Not a huge fan of this flavour. I prefer plain or bbq chips. Presidents choice puts out some really good flavours too. LOL

Hickory sticks are the best. They can be a little messy to eat but they taste great.

I had them once or twice. In the case of chips, I wouldn't say they are the flavour of Canada...my guess is probably Ketchup.
All Dressed, if I remember correctly, tasted a lot like Sour Cream and Onion. Not much difference.

Now, an All Dressed Pizza is a different story.

All dressed is my favorite, I really don’t see the sour cream & onion connection. More like a mix of ketchup and salt&vinegar. Not all brands use the same mix of chemicals to get that flavor. I like the Ruffles mix of chemicals best.

In terms of the unique taste of Canada when it comes to potato chips, I'd have to agree with Nat that ketchup wins this.

In the case of "all dressed" chips, I wonder where the name comes from and if it's related to "all dressed pizza".

All dressed pizza is something fairly unique to Quebec. In French it's "toute garnie", but honestly, you hear "all dressed" in French all the time. Usually sounding like alldress'.

BTW, an all dressed pizza is what most of you guys know as a combination: pepperoni, mushrooms and green peppers.

I wonder if it was a potato chip company based in Montreal that came up with the all dressed flavour?

All-dressed chips are “assaisonnees” in French. What does that literally translate to?
