Or does Canada not need a Texas beaver around anyhow?

The notification says that video can't be shown in this country. So we can't see it and don't know what it's about.

But if we're to take your title and question at face value the answer is no. A beaver from Texas cannot survive in Canada. It would be dead and gone within 2 weeks regardless of whatever season it was brought to Canada.

Okay, that video worked and I only skimmed through it since it's over 18 minutes long. I could be wrong but I don't think something like Buc-ee's big plastic stores would survive for long any place in Canada either. Bigger and more of something isn't better. I don't think there's enough people in any one location to support one of those big stores and make so much gross overkill worthwhile or appealing. I guess it's more of a Texas thing. But it was funny to see it.

Is Buc-ee's expecting the end of days and a zombie apocalypse in Texas? It looks like it.

Been there done that! It's everything the film shows it to be. We stopped there and spent some time to make sure we got the whole experience - from the huge washroom to the BBQ briskett.

In short I don't think it would fly in Canada because we aren't conditioned to the bigger is better to that extent.

Yep, Honest Ed's started a trend in the big smoke. Mel Lastman's Bad Boy's stores set off a hand grenade under the smaller appliance and furniture stores. Yep, Costco did something no one thought possible. Best Buy, Walmart supercenters, a host of other big chain names have come into Canada and flourished but a Buc-ee's is not brand recognized to the extent a Starbucks is to both survie and flourish. . . . . YET.

A beaver would need proof of Covid vaccination and a negative test to cross into Canada.

Nope that PRC test just got rescinded as it was slated to when the hospitalizations dropped to manageable levels. But full vaccination will still be required for the immediate future.

Nobody has any problem with that other than the idiot few protesting truckers, a sizable contingent of whom have never been crossing the border in any case.

The next few day's news is going to be interesting to say the least.

For humans. Not for beavers.

Serious question (my earlier post was slightly in jest). Does that mean that for fully vaccinated U.S. travelers normal travel conditions at land and air crossings now apply and I can plan a Canada vacation?
