I do. Working for the weekend was a song I played all the time on my cassette/radio player out beating cedar in the woods.

I saw them in Knoxville, Tennessee in 1983. Love them!

Yes, my group covered “Working for the weekend”....good song...ditto “Turn Me Loose”

I had a friend that went to a Cheap Trick concert and Loverboy opened for them.
He went to see Cheap Trick but came away a Loverboy fan.

One of them ended up on a buddies coach in the west end in Vancouver after he went through all the money. Another went home to mom in Edmonton.

I believe a couple of them are back making some kind of retro music of some kind.

But really? I remember my high school bands better!!!

I remember them, and Streetheart as well. I used to get those two bands mixed up all the time.

I wanna say that the band is still on some concert tour. I'd swear that I saw them listed along with many other bands on 1 of those 80 concert tours. Not sure how many are original members, though....

Now, I like Honeymoon Suite - another old Canadian band.
