And this is the problem. Canada is following the Wpaths guidelines on treatment, which just last week we saw doctors call unethical and that we don't know enough about these treatments. Like PDW jus said, this is presents as the only treatment for gender dysphoria, Canadian DR's are not allowed to deny or even suggest anything else. This is all due to the left pushing for these things.

Meanwhile, the U.S. has barreled toward transitioning kids without question while rejecting more cautious strategies such as counseling or watchful waiting.
This is pretty scary though I am glad some states are pushing back on this.

That is good news. There are simply too many risks asssociated with giving minors puberty blockers. Anyone saying otherwise is naive or simply dishonest and politically motivated.

The UK led the charge. Now the lawsuits have the insane fanatics running for cover.
Let the lawsuits bankrupt every medical clinic, doctor, and nonprofit in every country. It's the only way this madness stops.
It's about time, but it took far too long.
I commend Alberta but there's still a long way to go before a fully evidence based therapeutic model prevails.

Here's the saddest and most damning aspect:
Everyone, including WPATH, but especially pyschologists and social workers at The Tavistock, knew that puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones had no legitimate evidence of their safety and efficacy for children, and according to Hannah Barnes, author of 'Time to Think', staff at GIDS would often joke that they were 'transing the gay away'!

Sadly Canada is following WPaths guidelines to a tee.

About 20 US states banned puberty blockers. I suspect this will go up as people start having negative side effects like cancers. Also the claims that puberty blockers and hormone treatments are perfectly reversible are now have been shown to be not true.

Here a is an LGB Dr speaking honestly about puberty blockers and the harms they cause.
