well the title says it all I was convicted of careless driving well actually going through a red light ok stupid thing is I don't remember approx. 1 minute prior to collision. i remeber airbags and spinning but not before my mother was with me and swears the light was green. and if you knew my motrher you would understand that she would be telling me to stop long before i needed to when a red light is ahead (panicky passenger) this is why i kinda believe her. the cop didn't question either of us just a witness on the street that the other drive spoke to prior to the cop questioning him. I didn't know that i was even considered at fault until the tow truck driver told me. then the cop gave me a fine for careless driving. i took it to court had it remanded the first time as i was not prepared then i inadvertently missed the second court date. Life is to busy to remember everything.
Anyway i was convicted for careless driving but the plate number on the notice of fine is wrong. Is this grounds for appeal. i don't want this offence hanging over my head or my insurance if you know what i mean. I have been driving for 20 years and not so much as a speeding ticket. I'd like to keep it clean.
