What? No Winnipeg? Sometimes it feels like I'm the only person who likes that city.

The answer depends entirely on what one wants, as the options are so different in each city. What do YOU want?

Budget might be a factor too. As would your employment.

I've only visited Toronto & I thought it was a beautiful city. So I guess that's where I'd be. Housing seemed to be very spendy though.

What about Halifax? Toronto is great and Vancouver is a gem, perhaps the most beautiful city in North America. I've heard good things about Quebec City and Montreal but Halifax gets my vote.

Ottawa gets my vote. Husband and i spent 3 wonderful years in Ottawa. We have been to all the cities listed numerous times, but still chose to live in Ottawa. Sandwiched between two big cities, Ottawa close to major cities. Vancouver would be a close second but real estate is fairly pricey.

I picked Toronto, mostly because it's closer to my home base in the east.
Otherwise for year round living(not just summer)I'd probably go with Vancouver.
As for jobs I just saw a full page ad in my local newspaper for jobs in Alberta...they were advertising how the economy there is great and they need workers. Only thing with places like that and Winnipeg is you'd better be sure you like cold & lots of snow!

I have lots of Family in Montreal. I love it there I hope to live there soon.
I was there in June. Its so nice out there.

I heard Toronto is great too. I Never visited though
And of course Vancouver, I've heard nothing but good things about it.

I like diversity, so I guess thats why I picked the most diverse cities, imo
