Lake Metigoshe, Manitoba (for sale, real estate, apartment)

I am planning to relocate to Lake Metigoshe (Canadian side) in the coming months. Can anyone help me with information regarding the quality of life, price of renting or buying a home/cabin. I have very modest needs, but am hoping for at least a 2 bed, 2 bath, with a 2-car garage.

This past fourth of July I spent some time on the American side of the lake. This was my first visit up there, but my wife who is from the Minot area spent many many summer weekends in the area. It has built up a lot with quite large homes now being built and thus prices have been pushed up. It is very nice and loved seeing the fireworks on the holiday over the lake.

We did not visit the Canadian side...but did do a quick search and found this link to a home for sale on the Canadian side of the lake for comparison to what real estate may go for in the area.
