I am not trying to a dumb American but I was watching CNBC news today and they said that The PM Stephen Harper suspended your parliament? What is going on in your country? I am very interested in Canada News and love your country and wish I could live there instead of the USA

We are currently in a banana republic style constitutional crisis complete with a genuine bloodless (for now) coup d'etat. We are become more like South America by the day... It's sad, really...
