The quiet Canadian spymaster that inspired James Bond | Globalnews.ca

When it is required that someone actually be a "tough guy" to protect their loved ones rather than saying please; why would it seem to be your contention that Canada and Canadians would be somehow inferior to America in that regard?
When someone bombs Pearl Harbor or flies airplanes into our two tallest buildings or blows up San Bernardino.

We need suave, brilliant spies too but we also need to project force from time to time.

Canadians were not always as pacifistic as they are now and I appreciate their past service to the various alliances of which they've been a part.

Canada is no more pacifist today than it has ever been.

Your appreciation is appreciated.

My husband and I are thinking of moving to Canada. Any literature we can read up on in order to have a smooth transition?

Hearing about the strict gun laws and how the Canadian constitution works, I would love to ditch the states for Canada if I could.

How does the liberal party of Canada differ from the states?

I don't think you gain much by having Hilary Clinton over Trump.

There is no comparison since they are two completely different entities with different meanings and missions in both countries. In Canada all of our several political parties, including our conservative parties, would be considered liberal by American standards. Liberal doesn't mean the same things in politics or in general in Canada that liberal means in USA.

You can read about Canada's Liberal party here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liberal_Party_of_Canada
