There really isn't anything of that nature to be found anywhere in Canada. There are hispanics/latinos in all of these cities, but they aren't large enough in numbers or concentrated to the point of forming something resembling a barrio.
We have two groups, and some of them are staying. One, concrete younger workers most of whom go back to Mexico after work ends, and two, third and fourth generation Mexican families who send students here, buy a business, and drive a Porsche Cayenne with all the bells and whistles. They have more money than Bill Gates smarter brother, AND don't add an "s" to the word "barrio".
That third and fourth generation I suspect, but cannot prove, is laundered money.
You know, kind of like the Kennedys!
Their "barrio" is Coquitlam plateau near the golf course.
