You find out who your real friends are when you're sick.
I don't understand the part of people not wanting to be around anymore. If a friend of mine was sick, I would be there for him/her. That's part of the package of friendship.

song, there are two ways to find out who your real friends are:

#1. Tell them you have cancer.

#2. Tell them you're moving and need help.

The true friends will be there both times.

I'm two and a half years out from my surgery, two years from the end of my chemo. All indicators are good.
