“The study’s results were really rather profound. We saw dramatically reduced tumor volumes, primarily due to the anti-angiogenic effects of IP6,” says Komal Raina, research instructor at the Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, working in the lab of CU Cancer Center investigator and School of Pharmacy faculty member, Rajesh Agarwal.

yeah! it is another way to prevent prostate cancer other than the use of aspirin, it actually prevents the damaged cancer cells to from making any new blood vessels, cancer cells need blood vessels to stay alive. It's recommended that we should consume the required amount of dietary fiber daily to help prevent prostate cancer.

I think we all realize or should the importance of fiber in our diet, but the word here is: "help" The problem I have with all these studies is, too many people take them at face value. Also, I am not sure there is such a thing as "required" amount of fiber, do you mean recommended amount?

Let's hope we all do continue to get enough fiber. It can be a factor in controlling many health problems, plus most high fiber foods taste really good....For those who don't get enough now, try to increase your intake, a little a day.
