As a survivor and spending ALOT of time in and out of the hospital, I'm looking to give back as well. I'm making up some "get well" goody bags for the patients on the bone marrow transplant unit in my local hospital. I had a BMT last year, so it's kind of a personal choice to choose which patients get the goody bags although I wish I can afford to give them out to everyone!
It gets incredibly boring in the hospital. So i went to the dollar store and picked up some crossword puzzles, candy, hand sanitizers, and I'm making cancer bracelets for them too. I am procrastinating on putting everything together, but I will do it!
