I am in remission ( I hope) from nero endocrine which metastasized from a scalp lesion to lymph nodes.
Two years later---last night--- I discovered a mole which has changed dramatically in the past few months.
I see my oncologist today and will show her, but in the meantime I admit to being somewhat freaked out.

What should I know about moles? Is it possible for the original cancer to morph to melanoma?
When a mole becomes cancerous is it always melanoma?

What should I be specific about when I go in today?
Tbh I don't think I can go again for chemo, I almost died from it last time, am still suffering side effects from it and am now a widow. I don't think I can deal, I just don't.

No. In fact, it's more likely to be basal cell or squamous cell carcinoma. Almost all of us will have skin cancer at one point or another if we live long enough. In the vast majority of cases the mole is excised with ample margins and no further treatment is required.

The changes you've noticed: color, shape, size... I had an odd-looking waxy mole on the back of my ankle. One day I noticed it was bleeding. It was SCC.

I think you're going to be fine but do have it looked at.
