I am sure, despite what does sound like some damage (hope it is not too severe and you and your wife can manage despite that) I am very happy to hear it was not a full blown carcinoma diagnosis. You must be breathing a sigh of relief. Glad she had great medical care. I wish you both the best and no further medical hassles for a very long time to come.
I'm glad to hear this good news! A few years ago, my father-in-law had a schwannoma on his leg. Now he's undergoing testing for a lung nodule, and we're hoping for something benign like this.
Like some kind person pointed out to me not all tumors are cancerous. I hope for your FIL that turns out to be the case.
