Insurer accuses owner of drowned Bugatti of fraud | kens5.com San Antonio

I'll try to find pics of the Bugatti crash; I remember I've seen them somewhere. If anyone beats me to it, congrats in advance!

He said he swerved to miss a seagull. He swerved into the area where it was a smooth slope into the lagoon. Anybody see a seagull in that video? And wasn't it convenient that someone was taking a video?

By internatonal treaty (and therefore also by US law), you can be held criminally liable for killing a seagull, even by accident or negligence, so the driver was legally obliged to avoid hitting the gull.

LOL...Ya, I remember watching that game and later Windfild being taken into custody. That would have created an international $hit storm for Canada should they have prosecuted Windfield!

Anyhow, I didn't see any attempt to avoid a seagull in that clip. He was probably distracted by the guys racing beside him with the video camer/ phone and drifted off course.
