Someone bumped the rear of my car in the drive-through at Burger King. I ignored it and here comes a letter from the other's insurance company. They offered to pay all damages and $250 (if I agreed not to see a doctor) for pain and suffering. We accepted their offer.

To give some idea as to how long these things can take to resolve, I was quite nearly killed in 2018. I have a laundry list of life altering injuries. Doctors told my wife I wasn't expected to make it through the night but I survived. My attorney had to get a court order ordering the defendant to resolve this case by a certain date. (details witheld as litigation pending)
