Some people deserve gold stars in their heavenly crowns for taking extra-special care of their pets. I'm putting a great big diamond in your star!

May Jensen feel the love you have for him and recover quickly. I am in awe of you!

I'm glad Jensen is home. But EIGHT teeth! Wow. Poor kitty! Thank you for caring so much for him.

Ahhhh you didn't have to say that! Jensen's my buddy and I'll do anything I can for him. He's family after all. But thank you.

Jensen's doing well. He slept most of yesterday. He doesn't like his mouth being pried open for a pain pill. I got out of bed at 2 AM just to give him his pill. I'm trying to be a good cat parent. But he curled up and slept with me all of the night. So all was forgiven.

However,

This morning was not his idea of fun. I got up, he diligently ran to the kitchen for his shot and breakfast. He hopped up on the step stool for his shot and then I had to give him his pain pill followed by his antibiotic.

Then he ran off and went into hiding after eh had been poked at. He didn't come out for a few minutes.

He then got his breakfast and we're buddies again. Until his next pain pill at 4:00.........

Jensen decided he felt well enough to go out side for his daily wonder around the house yesterday. So he's doing well.

It's just since he got back from the vet my little Ami cat has been growling and hissing at him. But yet when he gets a can of cat food she's right there like he's her buddy? CATS!

The smell of the yummy food apparently trumps the smell of scary vet place Jensen probably still has.

And he's still on antibiotics which probably isn't helping much.

I've been so self-involved, chasey - that I haven't taken the time to really pursue anyone else's postings at the moment. I'm so sorry.
But I'm so so glad Jensen is feeling better, too!!

*big hugs to the both of you*

As soon as the funky vet smell wears off, I'm sure he and Ami will be back at it again like buds, with or without the food buffering it, hehe.
