I have never been so happy to hear that a cat took a crap Three cheers for MK and her poo-rific diet! It's been so long since she's been able to do it, it sounds as if Twix was a caught a bit off-guard by her newfound regularity
I've been on the edge of my seat for days. Even with switching vets, we won't know the success rate until she blocks up again - and according to past precedent, it's only a matter of time... so imagine my concern when Twix prowled around this morning for hours... pacing, grunting, pacing, flopping around... lo and behold, her eyes light up - she races for the litterbox, and poops about 4 pounds of her body weight in problems away - and the whole world rejoiced!!!
I've been treating her with a homeopathic remedy for constipation/upset bowels-stomach - wetting down the dry food as much as she will tolerate. We're switching brands as soon as it's through, just to be on the safe side.
I can't tell you how happy I was to see the poop volcano this morning. She looked at everyone like they had completely lost it, and went on her merry (albeit much lighter) way, without looking back. (leaving the rest of us doing the retarded happy dance for joy around the litterbox, like some ancient poop ritual to the gods) Hurray for Twix. Poopin like a trooper!
I have to go home and congratulate each of the cats when they poop now.. just so they think the world is fair.
