You have got to love them if you are a cat person! My kitties, all but the Persian are in such a loving mood today! I melt when my Maxie Kittie wakes me up in the morning with several head butts. Chloe Kittie is the queen of the love eyes. This morning, the new kittie who is now Little Bit has started in on the cute little love me meows with a head butt combo!!!
Chloe left my lap after giving me her lovins and here is Little Bit, meowing in question.. Can I jump on your lap? I say come on rittle bit! She jumps up and now Chloe looks at us with jealous eyes... that is MY mommy!
I sure love all three of mine, and has turned my husband into a cat fan too--gotta love the "head hugs" and pawing for love- my cats will paw at us until we love them. I sit down, and BOOM snuggle bunnies nestled next to as close as possible!
I love the head butt thing too...both my boy cats do this, and it makes me laugh every time because they're both so big they actually PUSH me and move me a little cuz they head butt so hard, LOL!
Last year at this time I lost my cat Billy. He was the King of head Butts. I miss him dearly. I still have 3 cats. None of them do the head butt! But, all of them are my loves
My little Persian loved head butts. I am basically a dog lover but Persian cats have definitely won me over. My little boy passed three years ago and I told myself that I will never get another cat although I love the breed because of the suddeness of his death which left me wondering did I miss something healthwise? He was 13 years old when he suddenly passed away and I blamed myself because I am an expert at reading a dog's medical symptoms but somewhat stymied in dealing with felines.
Sometimes it happens that way. Be glad it wasn't a long, drawn out lingering death in which the cat (and your bank account) suffered. Thirteen years isn't a bad lifespan for a cat. There are so many cats out there who need someone to love and be loved by that I can't imagine not having at least one.
I am not certain but I have been told that the Persians lifespan is not so long. I think your kitty had a good stretch.
My Chloe is laying here in front of my keyboard being a sweet girl. She got a new house today. She loves getting in cardboard boxes that her whole body takes up... such a cutie.
