There are many, many threads here at this forum regarding the subject of cat food. My suggestion to you is to take some time to read through them, and to make an informed decision. There is a treasure in links and information that people have researched and posted, as well as from personal experience.
VERY high quality (such as Wellness brand in my case) wet ONLY, as dry adheres to teeth thus increasing chance of tarter/plaque & then causing bad teeth problems/hygiene.
Mostly canned and raw. Dry (Wellness, Nutro) as a treat only. Dry food is not natural for cats, nor are the cheap grain and vegetable fillers they use.

Exactly this. I have three cats and they always have dry food. Morning and evening they share a can of food. The dry food is Taste of the Wild and the canned is Before Grain or Newman's Own.
We use both. I feed them dry food in the morning, and wet at night -- mostly because, for whatever reason, they won't eat wet food during the day, even if it's all that's there for them, but they gobble it up at night.
