Wow, Guinness sure is a beauty. He looks like he ran out of gas and just stopped in his tracks. How funny that he sleeps like that only on that particular towel. Cats are so bizarre ...

Mine sleep differently depending on the seasons -- in the winter, they curl up into tight little balls, usually with their backs to each other but touching. In the summer, they sprawl out to their longest possible length on their backs, usually on opposite sides of the room.

All the beautiful cats! They are so flexible; it's incredible that they can be comfortable in what look like contortionist positions. Sometimes they do look like roadkill!

I think it indicates a huge amount of trust of their humans....there are cats who just can't (won't) display that sort of abandonment of vigilance. Wonderful to see!


Just looked at the picture again.....perhaps Guinness is dreaming of snorkeling? Teehee.
