So that you can get a feel for what I see here almost every day, I took some pictures of some of my cats today. I really hope my babies make your day better, or at the very least, make you smile.
Let's see, picture 1 is of Megan (closest to camera), Max (sleeping with head on cat tower), and Rocky (furthest from camera).
Picture 2 is Molly making herself comfy on my love seat.
Picture 3 is Karma in a cat tower.....what a tail! (colors clash too)
Picture 4 is Karma and his look alike brother Benjamin in same cat tower (again colors....oh well, that's life! )
Picture 5 is Doodles hanging with Mom on the computer.
Picture 6 is Prinny sleeping with her Tiger.
Picture 7 is Charlie.....notice this picture is blurry. I have YET to get a clear picture of him. I swear his energy affects my camera. Go figure.
Picture 8 is Tigger sleeping on one of the kitchen chairs under the table.
Picture 9 is Sassy sleeping in her castle.
My babies that are NOT in the pics are Cuddles, Whispers, Bella and Cookie.
ENJOY!

Great pictures, Garden. Right now Neo is inside his kitty cave. Very unusual as he usually doesn't go in there in the summertime. Either he's feeling real lazy or it's more evidence of that whole "early, cold winter" thing we've been talking about.

I quit trying to figure things out. LOL Let just happen what will happen!
Holy cr@p! I thought we had too many cats. We had 9 at our peak, all fixed, all strays. Have you had any territorial issues? We had to separate into two clans.

I have clans within clans. Oh, yeah, I have territorial issues. BUT, I have been working with these guys for the past 4-5 years, trying to teach them to all get along. Let's just say, um, some progress, but still the clans within clans exist. And then, to make things even more confusing, some of my dominant males take turns being the Alpha. Hmmmm.....I have yet to figure out the rhyme of reason of all this. LOL
And I don't consider my babies as having too many. They have become my family. Most people would not live as I do, but yet again, I am not most people.

Beautiful kitties! Cookie and Checkers are especially fond of your tuxies.
Mine spend hot summer days hiding -- Checkers hides under the quilt in our bedroom, even though it gets ridiculously hot up there sometimes; Cookie hides behind the sofa, where Checkers can't get her. The hotter it is, the longer the cats get. We measured Checkers the other day when he was sprawled out on the floor -- almost 3 feet long from front toe to back toe.

Of course not. He's off writing his disciplinary reports about the other cats.
Love all your pics, and all your cats are beautiful! Those pics make me want to take a nap, they look so comfy. Prinny reminds me of my second cat who passed away.
One can never have too many kitties The most I had at once was 5, with 2 dogs. I now have 3 and 1 dog.
And then, to make things even more confusing, some of my dominant males take turns being the Alpha.
We've got circular dominance. Our smallest cat thinks she's Switzerland, she doesn't start anything and stays out of everyone else's business. However, our most dominant female is absolutely intimated by this little cat who is one third her size. The mere mention of her name brings a long low growl. I admit it - we say her name often as a form of entertainment.
We'll never have more than 6 cats again. That seems to be the point at which everything breaks down. After being forced to install new carpet and tile in the entire house - we had learned our lesson.
