My senior female cat is sitting on my t-shirt & jeans. I have never seen her do this before.

Why ?

Cats pick and choose their own spots for reasons we humans can't understand.

But here's my list:

It's yours
They like it
It smells like you
It's soft
and to them it makes a great bed.

Feel loved that the cat wants to get cat hair all over your clothes.

I agree! Your scent is probably at the top of the list but the cats in our house seem to love clothes more if their hair shows up on it more!

At our house we joke that the ultimate embellishment is cat hair!

She obviously got the memo from the people who make those sticky rollers. Smell her breath. She's being paid in kitty treats.

Its 5:05 am & 3 of my cats are curled up next to each other on the couch on the blanket. Two of the cats have been together now for 12 yrs & the other cat has been here since she was 6 or so weeks old in 5/06.

Four of my cats are 10+ yrs old & the oldest is about 14/15 (not sure).

In the past 7 yrs 3 of my cats have died of kidney failure (ages 12-15).

I HATE people who hate cats (cat haters). One punk neighbor told me to get rid of my cats. How dare anyone tell someone that. Another loser neighbor told me she shoots cats with her bb gun cause they crap in her yard. I told her next time she does it im filing a police report. She hasnt done it since. My ex bro in law hates cats & was always making bullcrap comments when i bring up my cats. We are NOT buds.

We do have outdoor cats around here but they have collers on them.

One of our cats likes to lay on books/magazines/hair. The other enjoys a perfectly flat surface, or soft clothing. Dunno why!
