I just found out about this cat 'ranch' in an email. Since I have't seen it on here I thought I'd share with the rest of the cat lovers. This sounds like a wonderful place for cats who would otherwise be dead or starving. I hope everyone checks out the story behind the ranch, the videos, and the great photos of the many cats.
Wow, that's pretty wild. I have to admit, I was a little worried at first when I read about how this got started. We had a woman in this area running a so-called cat ranch, and it was raided and closed down a couple years ago for apparent serious cruelty. (See http://www.pet-abuse.com/cases/13365/PA/US/ if you want to know. For all I know it was discussed here back when it was happening.) But this guy appears to have a go ahead from local humane and law enforcement. As long as that is kept up, it's a great thing.

Hmm - my cats would say, 'Give me shelter, food, companionship and love, and I will *** on your new couch!"
Hey, how come my cats are living at your house?
"Give me shelter, food, companionship and love, and I will *** on your new couch, knock over your red wine, use your laundry basket to sharpen my claws and shed all over your bed!"
That looks like such a great place, run by a nice guy. Does he offer cats for adoption? Hmmm.. but if I were a cat, I'd probably just want to stay at Caboodle! There's also a big cat sanctuary (700 cats!) here in California. It's called Cat House on the Kings. Check out the excellent video about it on Youtube.
Oh, here's a quote from Caboodle's website that I got a kick out of: "There is, incidentally, no way of talking about cats that enables one to come off as a sane person." ~Dan Greenberg
