Still no idea. It happened while we were on vacation. My best guess is rough play, but I really don't know.
How great would it be to install a 'kitty-cam'? You could probably watch the tapes instead of t.v. I can only imagine what all those critters get up to. But then, you would need, like, 20 cameras

of course the non plastic dish ware the best for feeding.
but, Also because of their sensitive whiskers, tickles them and annoys them when touching sides of dish when feeding, so i always use plates, flat area for feeding dishes .
my cat has a simliar spot on him i think my new puppy may have gotten to rough i really don't have the money for a vet but i am wondering how it turned out for ya i have been cleaning the area n using neosporin it don't look worse but it don't look like it s getting better either
