Crying...great story. I read about Sinatra last week in an online article, but hadn't seen the video.

Here's the article Breznican wrote about Sinatra:
With pets as 'part of the family,' grief hits hard when they pass - USATODAY.com
By the way, does anyone know how to download the video to the PC? I tried my usual downloader utilities, but to no avail. Maybe the video is blocked?

I agree with Laura707: A sad but sweet story. Sinatra was a great name for a Siamese cat, with his blue eyes. I had one for 12 years, and contrary to popular perception, she was the sweetest cat one could hope for.

Did it make you cry when you had your cat's toes cut off?

That being said, I have had all my cats declawed. I always did it at the same time they were fixed. I tried the no declaw route. I got the scratch pads, used the water bottle..it did not work. I also didnt feel that my child deserved to lose an eye either. My cats did very well with the declaw. Both use their toes and my one cat is really something else on the trouble he gets into. Having no claws did not slow him down a bit. Like any medical treatment make sure you use a good vet and follow all post op procedures.
