This cat showed up on my doorstep a couple of weeks ago. Those of us in my complex think someone in the neighborhood moved out and left him behind to fend for himself.
He's very friendly, has pale blue eyes and the siamese voice. He's a big cat, and when he fills out, will be bigger. He's an adult cat, but a young adult. And he seems to have chosen me, and he was obviously an inside cat. He's already neutered.
I'm letting him in gradually so he gets used to being inside again. I have a bow of Purina Cat Chow on the porch all day for whoever comes by to eat, and I bought some Sophisticat at Petsmart, but he doesn't like it - he prefers the good stuff, so I gave him some Wellness and he gobbled it up.
I wasn't planning on getting another cat, but I guess I've been chosen.

Bless you for taking him in. It's so sad but cats and dogs and even horses are being abandoned here when people lose their homes and property. They just take off and leave them behind like bags of trash. Worse it's getting cold here now and I was told some puppies and kittens don't survive the bitter cold TN nights. As for canned food, my three like Friskies the best. They will also eat canned Sophisticat. We can't afford the $1.39 a can stuff with three cats. They do get raw meat and as a treat some dry Wellness or Blue Wilderness for a midnight snack. They're fed three times a day. So far they're all doing well.

I have a female feral that visits my backyard for handouts and she could be that guy's little sister.
