I meant what is MY cat doing. Noting comes out but he looks like he is spraying. Anybody else have this behavior in their cats?
Several of our cats do that. I was so thrilled that they weren't spraying, that I don't remember what I read concerning the reason for the behavior. lol
My sister was in the same predicament that you are. Very small house... 4 cats and 2 littler boxes. She finally put a litter box in the KITCHEN (to have litter boxes at opposite ends of her home) just so she could eliminate the possibility of the spraying problem being not enough boxes or location. The spraying stopped completely.
The litter box is in the kitchen. It used to be in the bathroom, but I got tired of having litter all over the bathroom, so it's in the kitchen to stay, and there's no room for another one. Putting it in the Rubbermaid container really helps with the litter tracking.
Many years ago my mother had a grease fire in the kitchen. Litter tray happened to be in the kitchen so the first thing she thought of was to grab that. Oh---I will never forget the mess and the smell.
LOL Moved, I just used Nature's Miracle according to direction, and it works just as good as if I had first cleaned with Simple Green. I could have saved myself a lot of work, but this brain of mine equates cleanliness with soap and water.
Just letting you know.......the directions do work. LOL
I'll be buying some as soon as my unemployment check arrives. I've been keeping an eye on him, and he's been pretty good, except that he did it again on the wall by the bathroom. I think the front door spraying was due to a stray cat spraying the outside of the door, so I've been spraying it with Simple Green every night.
