Judging by the posts it sounds as though you have rehomed her, well that is one lucky kitty.
Nancy just had a loss recently, Suei. And she has been brave enough to adopt another baby that needs a home.

I really do applaud you, Nancy.

Whilst I was gazing at the photo of gorgeous Ruby, I seemed to hear her say...." Now that I'M here, everything's going to be alright...."

She's obviously a take-charge, no-foolin'-around feline! Congratulations, Nancy, I'm so happy for you.

Thank you all so much.

I had gotten her from the local shelter where there were several pure-breds, but they all seemed so aloof and unfriendly. "Baby" as she was known then, stared right into my eyes and jumped on my lap so she was the right one for me.

She still is a great compsanion, follows me around & will even sit right next to me and watch "Judge Judy" (now that's dedication.....).

Miss Ruby is precious. I'm so happy you have a new kitty to love...and to love you back.

Pure-breds, who needs 'em. Every one of the pure-breds who's owned me has been a pure-bred "alley cat." They purr and snuggle just as well and without the price tag.
Gracie is looking down from the Rainbow Bridge, I'm looking over from my earthbound place, and we're both pleased and grateful. We thank you for allowing yourself to be found by an older alley cat who clearly knew she'd spotted the right person for her.
Since her head is obviously not a rich red, what brought on the name "Ruby?"
