We currently use a dog water dish because it has that rubber bottom, lol. We tried the wider bottom cat water bowl, but it's all the way across the room when I come home. I think they liked spilling water and then sliding the bowl around it, it was a game. Now that we use the dog water bowl (it's not very big, suited for a small dog) they haven't moved it.

We did have to buy a new water bowl for our dog though, since I stole his,
