No independent scientific website to recommend? Are you affiliated with that site in some way? I don't trust sites making all kinds of unsubstantiated health claims. Sites with an agenda out to sell a product. Silica is silica and you don't want to breathe it.

Fleas were already developing a strong resistence to Permethrin back in the 1970s.

Revolution is extraordinary. We had a bad infestation last year. Fleas everywhere. One treatment, and it has been well over a year and we have not seen a single flea *anywhere*. The stuff is magic.

That doesn't change the fact that it is toxic to cats. Products containing permethrin should never be used on OR around cats, it is that deadly to them.

My cat has used front line for three months and is still infested with fleas. I called the vet they said fleas in the area or being immune to frontline. They suggested some pills that my cat can take once a month and it works within an hour not sure the name of the pill my cat is 11 years old. Any suggestions I don’t know what to do

I had to stop using Frontline Plus in 2013. For whatever reason, it just stopped working, so I switched to Revolution and have had very good results with it. It also kills ear mites and some types of worms. You can find it reasonably priced online from overseas vendors. And btw, all of my cats are seniors (over 12 years old), and the Rev. is no problem for them.
