My cat was earlier making the most pitiful sounds...crying and whining and just complaining. Yes she had food. Yes, her litter pan was clean. Yes, she had clean water.

Then I finally figured it out...

There is what appears to be a laser light show happening in my house with the afternoon sun coming in through the trees and the light is bouncing off of various objects, onto the walls and ceiling, and the cat can't reach to 'kill' the bad bouncing lights and she is voicing her frustration for all the world to hear.

Probably similar to the sounds Meeko makes when I separate him from Freddie, and he can't "find the kitty" to "kill the kitty".

Mine were whimpering the other night because a moth was flying around near the ceiling, and wouldn't fly down low enough for them to catch it. Spoiled brats.

ahh ... y'all got normal domestic cats

Try a hybrid ... my female is very vocal and when speaking to her she comes up and trys to talk.

Her problem is that she is bored out of her mind ... Her Grandmother was an Asian Serval and a great grandmother on other side was an African Serval

You're either the bravest person here or the craziest! [smiley face]

I had to stop dating a guy years ago because he had a hybrid ... and had NO control over it. I feared for my safety, and wouldn't sleep over.
