My girl who is now 11 months old was spayed at 6 months. A week or so after her spaying she had very little appetite for about two weeks. Since then, just about every month, she goes through the same thing where her appetite decreases severely. It lasts a between 5 - 10 days. She doesn't stop eating or drinking but only eats half or so of what she normally eats. During these times she seems to get much more vocal at night (more vocal for a Bengal is pretty darn vocal). I'm wondering if these monthly changes have anything to do with her spaying? Our vet said not to worry as long as she eats some, cleans, potties and plays. She does all of these things. I get worried every month even though this has happened a bunch of times now. She is 11 months old and about 10-11 lbs.
Anyone have any insight?
PS. She is in the running for most spoiled cat ever.
